In the sun-drenched countryside of Menfi, Sicily, less than a mile from the Mediterranean, the Lotà family has cared for its olive grove for five generations.

Agostino is named in honor of Chef Accursio Lotà's father, Agostino Lotà, affectionately known as Nonno. He continues to care for the family's grove and produce its olive oil today, carrying forward generations of respect for the land and the trees that have long been part of the Lotà family.

Chef Accursio has built his culinary career around the flavors and traditions of his native Sicily as chef and owner of Cori Pastificio and Dora Ristorante in San Diego. With Agostino, he now shares his family's olive oil and a true taste of Sicily beyond his restaurants.
